Our Help to Others

We help where help is needed most.

One of our company’s core values is a genuine interest in others and active support for those in need. We are not indifferent to the fate of people facing difficult life situations, which is why we have been long-time supporters of charitable organizations and initiatives that offer help where it is needed the most.

In spring 2021, in cooperation with the Forum of Mobile Hospices, we provided three of its member organizations with antigen tests and respirators. These protective items were intended for workers in home palliative care, who were often overlooked during the Covid-19 pandemic. Yet they risked their health every day to provide dignified care to terminally ill patients in their homes.

We also support the UNICEF Children's Fund, which helps in the poorest countries in the world. UNICEF strives to ensure that children in these regions have safe and dignified living conditions – especially healthcare, access to clean drinking water, proper nutrition, basic hygiene, prevention and treatment of AIDS, education, and protection from abuse and any form of exploitation. We believe that helping children in need carries deep meaning, and that every good deed can help make the world a better place – even if it's just one small step.

Linka bezpečí (Safety Line) is the largest and longest-operating nationwide crisis hotline for children and young people up to 26 years of age in the Czech Republic. It provides immediate psychological assistance and support in challenging and crisis life situations. The helpline number 116 111 is available 24/7 – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In addition to phone support, children and adolescents can also contact them via live chat or email, choosing the form of communication they feel most comfortable with.

Linka bezpečí is also available to parents, grandparents, other family members, teachers, and any adults concerned about a child and seeking advice or help in a difficult situation.

In 2017, we became a proud Good Angel (Dobrý anděl), and since then we have been regularly helping families with children who found themselves in financial distress due to serious illness. The Good Angel Foundation distributes 100% of donations directly to families in need, helping them get through difficult periods in life, when they not only face emotional stress but also significant income loss. We believe that regular support truly matters – and that together, we can change the world for the better, one child and one family at a time.

We also support Czech healthcare

For the third consecutive year, we have been the general partner of the “Best Surgery of the Year” competition – the largest healthcare competition in the Czech Republic, in which doctors are nominated and recognized directly by their patients. More than 4,000 medical practices participated in the latest edition, being praised by patients for their modern approach, openness, and friendliness.

This year’s ambassadors of the competition are three remarkable women: pharmacist PharmDr. Jana Doleželová, physician and internist Dr. Kateřina Cajthamlová, and fashion designer Marie Zelená.
